Terms of Use

By accessing or using MasterAngler.ai (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

To use the Service, you must be at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to use the Service.

Master Angler is an AI-powered fishing guide that provides water reports and game plans, weather and water conditions, bait, lure, and fly recommendations, AI chat with photo identification, catch logging and statistics, angler profiles and community features, and trip planning. The Service offers a free plan and paid plans. Features and limits vary by plan and may change over time.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

You agree not to use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purpose. Do not harass, threaten, or impersonate others; post hateful, explicit, or spam content; post someone else's private information, or the precise location of another angler's spot, without their permission; post content you do not have the right to share; or scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or resell the Service. We may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules.

The Service, including its software, design, branding, content, and underlying technology, is owned by Master Angler and its licensors. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.

You keep ownership of the content you post, such as catch photos and captions. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display your content in the Service, including showing it to other users according to your privacy settings, as needed to operate and improve the Service. We will not use your posts or photos in our marketing or advertising without your permission. You are responsible for the content you post.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use and share it.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis. A yearly plan is a single upfront payment priced at nine months of the monthly rate, which is three months free compared with paying monthly. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, and you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices do not include taxes where applicable. We may change plan features or prices; if a price change affects your subscription, we will notify you in advance, and the new price will apply starting with your next billing period.

Promo codes and free periods of a paid plan are personal, non-transferable, have no cash value, may be limited to one per person, and may expire. When a free period ends, your account returns to the free Angler plan unless you choose to subscribe. We may cancel codes or benefits obtained through misuse.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@masterangler.ai. After you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, and your account then returns to the free Angler plan. Your catch logs, saved waters, and fishing history are kept, but saved waters beyond the free plan's limit are hidden until you upgrade again. Yearly subscriptions are non-refundable for unused time remaining in the billing period, and monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing month, except where required by applicable law. We may, at our sole discretion, issue refunds or credits in exceptional circumstances; to request one, contact support@masterangler.ai. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription immediately, and no refund is issued for unused subscription time.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends.

Reports, recommendations, chat answers, and photo identifications are generated by AI and may be wrong. Weather, water flows, tides, and other conditions come from third-party sources and may be delayed, unavailable, or inaccurate. Do not rely on the Service for safety decisions; always check official sources and conditions on the water. You are responsible for your own safety, for holding the required licenses, for following all fishing regulations (including seasons, limits, and rules for protected species), and for respecting private property and access rules.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Fishing conditions, species information, and recommendations are for informational purposes only.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Master Angler shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Master Angler, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Before filing a formal legal action, you agree to contact us at support@masterangler.ai to try to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days. If it is not resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in Monument, Colorado. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding, and judgment may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
